Ans. A group of cells that are similar in structure and work together to achieve particular function form a  tissue.

Ans. Plant tissues are based on their fixed habit at and mainly provide support to stand plant. There are two types of plant issue (1) marrystematic tissue (2) permanent tissue.

Ans. Animal tissues organisation is based on active locomotion.

Q 5. What are the types of meristematic tissue?

Ans. 1) apical meristematic: it is present at growing tips of stem and roots. It helps to growth of the tree in height.

2) intercallery marrystem: it is present at base of the leaves or things. It helps to connect the twing to the stem.

3) lateral meristem: it is present on the lateral sites of the stem and roots. It helps to grow the breath of the tree.

Ans. There are two types of permanent tissues

1) simple parmanent tissues

2) complex permanent tissues

Q 7. What are simple permanent issues?

Ans. Simple parmanent   are made up of only one type of cell. There are three types of simple permanent tissues:

1) parenchyma: it provides support to plant and also stores food. 

2) collenchyma: it provide mechanical support and elasticity in plants. It is present in the leaf stocks below the apidermis.

3) sclerenchyma: it provide strength and enables them to beer various stresses. It is present in the stem.

Ans. Complex parmanent tissues are made up of more than one type of cells.

There are two types of complex permanent tissues:

1) xylem : it transport water and minerals from root to other parts of the plant.

2) phloem : it transport the food from leaves to the other parts of the plant.

Ans. There are many types of animal tissues:

1) epithelial tissues: it is covering and protective they are present in skin and lining of mouth.

2) connective tissues: they connect various body organs.

3) muscular tissues : it helps in the moment of the body parts.

4) Nervous tissues : it helps body to respond against stimulus.
